3/15/2012Gallagher, the comedian who made (one) name for himself by smashing fruit with a sledgehammer (It was the 1980s, kids. This was what we had before Twitter and cat videos) reportedly had a heart attack minutes before a show last night in Texas. Twitter user@Jbodine13 snapped a pic of every watermelon's worst nightmare at Hat Trick's comedy club shortly before he complained about chest pains and was rushed to a Dallas-area hospital. Gallagher ranks as Comedy Central's 100th best comic of all time, a numerical honor that he wasn't thrilled with. "How could I be behind people I never heard of," he asked The Oregonian. "I made 13 one-hour shows for Showtime, which are available on videotape."
