Man charges Kansas City mayor during State of the City speech3/20/2013
It's always nice when community members are passionately involved in the issues of their city, but a man in Kansas City, Mo., took that notion to extremes this week during a State of the City speech by Mayor Sly James. The unidentified fellow charged the podium saying, "He talking about exactly what the f**k he ain't go damned never did!" Security grabbed the thoughtful man and a scuffle ensued, and though the mayor was unharmed a flagpole took a tumble. Led away in handcuffs, the dissenter had one last comment from the police van. "Rescue my city and fire the public councilman." Look for a write-in on the ballot for the next race for mayor. [Source]
