Bet Ridley Scott never thought anyone would test the creepy tagline from 1979's "Alien": "In space, no one can hear you scream." Researchers from England's University of Surrey have blasted a smartphone into space loaded with a specially designed "Scream in Space" app that will play video screams like the one shown above and then see if the phone's monitor registers the sound. The "smartphone-sat" device will orbit the Earth for six months, transmitting pics using the 360 app to its own Facebook page.
