'Snackman' defuses violent subway fight with potato chips

New York City may have found its newest hero, and his name is "Snackman." A confrontation in a city subway car started to become violent after a heated exchange between a man and a woman (warning: their language is NSFW) turned physical. Before things could escalate, however, a vigilante armed only with some chips and a peaceful disposition diffused the situation. He said nothing, simply placing his noshing self strategically between the two combatants as he calmly munched away on his salty snack.

He may not be the flashiest hero the Big Apple has seen, but as one YouTube commenter puts it, "He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Snackman."
