There's a snake on this motherlovin' plane, and it's on the wing

Raymond Babbitt thought Qantas was the world's safest airline in "Rain Man," but snakes probably wouldn't agree. Check out a 10-foot scrub python hanging on for dear life as his warm, cozy hideout in the plane's wing flap became a death trap once the plane took off. Passengers watched in horror as the snake struggled to hang on in 250 mph winds and freezing temperatures. "I felt quite sad for it, really," said Robert Weber, who videoed the serpent's plight on the flight from Australia to Papua New Guinea. "Until we landed, I looked out the window and the thing was still moving." Sadly, the ground crew found the snake had died when the plane landed. [Source]
