SNL fills the Whitney void with cute Blue Ivy sketch
2/19/2012If you stayed up wondering uncomfortably if Maya Rudolph's return to "Saturday Night Live" might include her go-to Whitney Houston impression, there was no need to worry -- the show hasn't shown that kind of inappropriate edge for years. However, the alternative payoff was entertaining: a sketch featuring Rudolph as Beyonce and Jay Pharoah as Jay-Z greeting celebrities paying their respects to newborn daughter Blue Ivy. Unofficial cast member Justin Timberlake was the last to stop by as Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, with Beyonce protesting that she was just about to put Blue Ivy to sleep. "Trust me," deadpanned Timberlake, "this will help."
