Snooty reality show wants cast to pay them $50K to be on TV
3/31/2012Reality show contestants may face public humiliation, but usually there's an incentive -- like money, or a place to stay on the Jersey Shore. But one new series wants the cast to pay them. The show focuses on the crew of a luxury yacht and needs rich passengers to boss the "yachties" around each week, and as the casting ad says, "Production company needs a few groups of awesome charter guests ... *who will actually pay $50K to go on this yacht for 3 days and be filmed*." Be assured, reality star wannabes, this is a deal: "The yacht normally charters for $200,000/week." So you're getting a discount on a luxury vacation and "if selected, you'll be featured in a 1-hour episode on a major cable network."
