Sociopathic new game has users 'hunt' homeless
2/25/2012A new Android app, titled "HoboHunt," may be the most appalling smartphone game in the category's brief history. Users are supposed to take photos of the actual homeless, and then "hunt" their images with a weapon from a selection of in-game purchases. (A pitchfork, for example, is 99 cents). Joel Usher, CEO of gamemaker Synventus, tells Vice the concept of the game came from a "friend" and some equally sociopathic Washington D.C. lawyers who regularly make jokes about "hunting" the homeless. Appalling.
