Admirably lazy man busted paying someone in China to do his job

1/16/2013

According to a post on Verizon's security blog, a software developer named "Bob" from an unidentified U.S.-based company was busted in 2012 for outsourcing his own job out to a Chinese consulting firm. The company contacted Verizon for help after their IT department noticed someone logging on from China, eventually discovering Bob was spending less than a fifth of his six-figure salary to pay someone to do his work while he surfed Reddit, LinkedIn and Facebook. Smart idea! The money Bob paid was obviously worth it: His performance review had ranked him as the best developer in the building. [Source]
