Restaurant decides family's well-behaved kids are worth a solid $4

2/3/2013

Ah, the sound of a quiet candlelit restaurant, wine, Italian food, romance … screaming children. A restaurant in western Washington is apparently so eager to deter the unpleasant scenario that it recently gave a patron a discount for having "well-behaved kids." The photo uploaded of the receipt has gone viral, prompting a debate over whether it's OK for restaurants to get involved. Sure, discounts are great, but what happens when they start billing per decibel? [Source]
