History buffs rejoice at WWII Soviet sub discovered in Baltic Sea
12/18/2012If you’re a history buff intrigued by tales of warships and Russian spy crafts, today is your day. Haunting footage is going viral from the Swedish military that shows a Soviet submarine wreck from World War II that's been found in the Baltic Sea. The warcraft, discovered southeast of the island of Oland, was apparently found months ago by civilian divers but was just made public today. Experts believe it sunk 71 years ago when it encountered a German minefield and was blown apart. History lovers are obviously going crazy with joy; we're just glad this Russian sub isn't moving.
