The space shuttle Endeavour drew legions of fans during its cool weekend cruise, slow ridin' through Los Angeles. Yet, reports are now emerging that the parade was a bit of a logistical nightmare behind the scenes, as evidenced in this viral time-lapse video. Here, you can see the footage of police, city workers, flaggers, and other personnel scrambling each step of the painstakingly slow way to move obstacles that apparently hadn't been considered by the $10 million operation's planners. At one notable moment, the procession comes to a stop for a small tree which no one had thought to remove, and at another, the spacecraft nearly hits a light post, causing crews to pause again and crisis manage.
