This speaker pillow could be the key to domestic bliss

1/8/2013

Is your partner perfect in every way, except when it comes to switching off the TV at night? Speaker pillow to the rescue! Brookstone's latest invention could put marriage counselors out of business. Tech wizards have inserted minuscule speakers into $129 comfy memory-foam pillows that wirelessly connect to your TV or stereo and can be set to shut off automatically. These babies deliver sound right around the user's head so sleepy partners don't have to wear noise-canceling earplugs to drown out "Beavis and Butt-Head" reruns while drifting off. Don't expect great big stereophonic sound for blasting Metallica, but rather the quiet sound more appropriate for the dulcet tones of that brand-new David Bowie single. Sweet dreams! [Source]
