We’re all afraid of spiders, right? If you’re not, chances are you might be a human-bot controlled by a single spider in a tiny room where your heart should be. Don’t think they’re capable of it? Have you ever walked into a spider web? Spiders are mad criminal geniuses, and unfortunately, they might be putting their evil little heads together and forming societies. Yes, about 24 spider species studied by Lena Grinsted of Denmark University are getting a little too cozy for human comfort. While members of spider society aren’t ganging up to weave huge people-sized webs and eating people (yet), members of the same colony DO they seem willing to care for each other’s babies — something heretofore unthinkable among these arachnids.
