Don't like the coach's lineup? Then maybe you should (law)suit up
1/16/2013San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich already earned a $250,000 wrist slap from the NBA for sending Tim Duncan and three other stars home to rest instead of playing them in a November game against Miami. Now a Heat fan (and lawyer, naturally) wants justice. Larry McGuinness has filed a class-action suit against the Spurs, based on the fact that NBA clubs charge more for games against top teams. "You go to Morton's, you go to Delmonico's, you order that porterhouse steak and pay 63 bucks for it and out comes a cube steak," griped McGuinness, who will donate any settlement to Hurricane Sandy relief. The Spurs may want to rest their first-string lawyer for this one. [Source]
