Sri Lanka has a job opening you'd kill for (literally)
9/4/2012Hey, job seekers! Looking for a career opportunity that might not require you to actually do your job that often? Before you update your résumé, we do have to tell you that the position is only open to men and occasionally you might have to, um, kill someone. Sri Lanka is currently trying to hire two new hangmen after one of its previous employees retired and the other got promoted (to what we don't know, but we're assuming executioner-in-chief or something). Bring some good reading material if you get the gig: Even though the island country has 480 inmates on death row, it hasn't actually executed anyone since 1976. [Source]
