Artist ruins perfectly good ring by covering it in his own flesh

Are you looking to spend 350,000 Euros in the creepiest way possible? If so, artist Sruli Recht has just the ring for you. Although he's previously made pieces from such cringe-inducing items as the leather of stillborn lambs or silk taken from a spider's silk gland after being implanted into a goat's milk duct (because, you know, "Art"), Recht's "Forget Me Knot" puts them all to shame. Instead of just turning stomachs, he's actually turned part of his stomach into a ring. The artist removed a 110mmx10mm strip from his stomach, tanned it, and wrapped it around a gold ring, all to complete the kind of jewelry that only Buffalo Bill from "Silence of the Lambs" could love.
