Just increase the price of a US postage stamp to $1. This penny increase is dumb and not working for long term.

11/18/2012The long-suffering U.S. Postal Service just announced a one-cent stamp price increase beginning in January. Argh, again?! The cost to mail a postcard will go from 32 to 33 cents; global "forever" stamps will now set you back $1.10 each; and while sure, mailing a regular America-bound letter will only cost you one penny more (46 cents instead of 45), that’s our hard-earned penny, dammit! Unsurprisingly, the general public doesn’t seem too psyched. Tweeps' reactions ranged from "meh" to just plain annoyed; @pervamatt seemed to speak for many when he wrote, simply, “I'm gonna be broke!” Start saving those pennies now – the price increase takes off on Jan. 27, 2013.
