Desperate Norwegians pay $9.83 for a Starbucks grande latte

2/25/2013

If you're still reeling from the $47.30 paid for a Starbucks Quadriginoctuple Frap last week, this will really give you the jitters. In Oslo, Norway, folks pay more than any other city for a standard grande latte — a budget-crumbling $9.83. Meanwhile, the lowest price paid is just $2.80 in New Delhi, India. The disparity is down to some currencies being overvalued, according to Bloomberg which released the list of how much a Starbucks coffee costs in cities around the world. Stockholm, Sweden ($7.40) and Moscow, Russia ($7.27) were in second and third place, with San Francisco ($3.55) and Mexico City ($3.22) rounding out the bottom three. [Source]
