Earth-loving bean heads rejoice as Starbucks introduces reusable cups
1/3/2013If your Starbucks experience just isn't the same unless you're clutching a towering paper cup emblazoned with their logo, yet you're troubled by environmental concerns, good news. Starbucks is rolling out reusable plastic cups nationwide that look reassuringly like the real thing for $1 a pop. The coffee behemoth already gives a dime discount to customers who bring in reusable cups for refills, and like other reusable cups, the Starbucks-branded vessels will be cleaned with boiling water each time a customer presents one. Doing the earth a favor and avoiding brand insecurity: Priceless (well, a buck, but hey). [Source]
