No steering wheel? No problem for rally driver

You've kept cool when your car blew a tire, but could you handle the steering wheel coming off in your hands? Rory Gardiner didn't just handle it, he snapped the misbehaving tiller back into place and kept driving — in the middle of the New England Forest Rally. Gardiner and co-driver Steven Harrell finished 32nd in this stage, but surely they should have received some sort of award for composure, since the closest thing to panic was Gardiner's declaration that, "I can't believe the steering wheel came off."
