Watch NBA player sprain his ankle by falling on courtside waitress
1/4/2013Sports injuries occur in a variety of ways, but this might be the first time a basketball player has been disabled by a hardworking waitress. San Antonio Spurs guard-forward Stephen Jackson was forced to leave the court with an ankle sprain Thursday night after he tripped over a courtside waitress. Jackson had just gone for a 3-pointer from the edge of the court when he stepped back and crashed into the waitress, who was working the sideline where New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was sitting. To make matters worse for Jackson, he missed the shot, and his side lost to the Knicks by 17 points.
