Stephen King is rich, with stacks of cash tall enough in which to hide demonically possessed Plymouths or several undead dogs. In an expletive-laden column for the Daily Beast, he's asking the government to take this money off his hands. King, who is NSFW-level irked because he pays 28 percent in taxes, thinks that he and other card-carrying one-percenters are obligated to pay more. King gives $4 million to charity every year, but he says simply offering up donations "at [our] own discretion" won't help America in the long run. "I don't want you to apologize for being rich," he writes. "I want you to acknowledge that ... we all should have to pay our fair share."
