Latest writing from Stephen King is a plea for simple gun laws
3/21/2013Gun owner and best-selling novelist Stephen King has returned to the topic of gun control — writing in his hometown paper, the Bangor Daily News, that most Americans want "simple laws" that would allow hunters to hunt and "the rest of us [to] be a little safer." King published an e-book on the subject and reports in the new op-ed that his Amazon reviews for the text were chiefly five-stars (834) or one-star (160) — with just a small minority of readers opting for the middle ground with a three-star review: "If you need a statistical example of how polarized the country is, there it is."
