Madame Tussauds debuts Steve Jobs wax figure
9/19/2012Steve Jobs is back — at least in wax-figure form. This insanely realistic rendering of the Apple founder is set to debut at a Madame Tussauds attraction in Hong Kong next week before traveling to other locations in China. It's been produced to mark the first anniversary of Jobs' death on October 5 and it cost nearly $200,000 to produce. Jobs is decked out in his trademark black turtleneck, Levi's jeans, and New Balance sneakers; Madame Tussauds artists also recreated Jobs' custom-made Lunor eyeglasses. Perhaps the most work-intensive element is the hair, each strand of which is individually implanted before it's cut, washed, and styled. [Source]
