One year later, Apple remembers the passing of Steve Jobs
10/5/2012If you visit Apple.com today, before you check the status of your recently ordered iPhone, you'll see a moving video paying tribute to Steve Jobs. Today marks one year since the Apple co-founder and legendary innovator died of complications from pancreatic cancer at the age of 56. Apple's CEO Tim Cook released a statement, asking us to spend today reflecting "on [Jobs'] extraordinary life and the many ways he made the world a better place." Cook sent a similar letter to Apple's employees, telling them that their time and talents are "a wonderful tribute to Steve's memory and everything he stood for." Apple's home in Cupertino, Calif., will fly its municipal flag at half-staff today in memory of Jobs. [Source]
