'Moonshiners' star shockingly arrested for being drunk in public
3/13/2013Who says life doesn’t imitate art? Perhaps a more accurate question would be, who says the reality show "Moonshiners" is art? All that aside, bootlegging star Steven Ray Tickle was arrested for public intoxication in Danville, Va., as he sat in the parking lot of Charley's Stop and Shop convenience store swilling liquor from an open container. Whether he'd made it himself was unclear. As the series' website notes, "moonshining season" is from June to October (the height of the corn harvest for maximum foliage to "hide the illegal operations"), so maybe poor Tickle was simply bored.
