The world's longest cat — 4 feet from nose to tail — has died
2/6/2013R.I.P., Stewie. The world's longest cat has died, following a battle against cancer. Only 8 years old, Maine Coon Stewie measured an astounding 48.5 inches from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail. (Perhaps unsurprisingly, Stewie also held the record for the cat with the longest tail.) The Reno, Nev., resident wasn't just a Guinness World Record holder; he was also a volunteer at a local senior center and a certified therapy animal. "He has touched many lives, and for that I am grateful," said his owner, Robin Hendrickson. [Source]
