Strangers surprise bumbling grandfather with kindness
6/17/2012In the United Kingdom pounds fatten up wallets. They apparently fatten up hands, too. Meat-handed Barry Eastwood, of Manchester, was still holding £1,000 for a car insurance payment in his hands when he tripped and fell outside his bank, fluttering all but £60 of the 54-year-old grandfather's bills down the block. Thankfully, England's populace is better at stopping bills than its goalie has at stopping scores in soccer's Euro 2012. Twenty kids in their twenties scooped up all but the last £20 and returned it to Eastwood. Say that three times fast, but since it's a tongue twister, put your cash away first. You don't want to drop it.
Say you picked up 11 $20 bills out of $500. How many would you return?
