ESPN anchor announces cancer has returned, will undergo chemo
1/15/2013"I'm back in the Fight," ESPN anchor Stuart Scott wrote on Twitter. "C reared its head again." Sadly, the "C" stands for cancer. Scott was diagnosed with appendiceal cancer in 2007 and was cancer-free until 2011, when malignancies were discovered in his small intestine. After sending his defiantly optimistic tweets ("I'll still work, still work out, still #LIVESTRONG," he posted), Scott received a stack of supportive replies from Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul and Robert Griffin III, among others. Scott says that he'll undergo chemotherapy again but that it won't keep him from dishing out "booyahs!" from behind the SportsCenter desk. Fight on, Stuart.
