Student, 18, ends affair with teacher, 41, after his arrest

It's over for the 18-year-old California high school student who moved in with her 41-year-old teacher, but the worst is just beginning for her newly dumped boyfriend after his arrest for sexual misconduct with another teen 14 years ago. Jordan Powers, who "lost everything" by leaving her family and skipping her senior year, told James Hooker "we're done" after he called her from his Modesto jail cell. "I just have a gut feeling there are other girls," she said. Her mother, Tammie, had strenuously fought the relationship, meeting the couple on "Dr. Phil" and even pushing for legislation to make teacher-student relationships illegal. "He's a predator," Tammie Powers insisted.
