Study finds that (shock! horror!) men and women are alike after all
2/7/2013Time to throw out that old copy of "Men are From Mars, Women Are From Venus." Besides the obvious, ahem, differences between the genders, new research declares there are no real significant psychological differences between women and men. A study in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology reanalyzed data from previous studies that claimed to find major psychological differences between males and females, and debunked the claims. Members of both genders were found to share common personality traits — empathy and an aptitude for math, for example. The study concluded that "it is untrue that men and women think about their relationships in qualitatively different ways." [Source]
