7/14/2012Dude, did you know it’s your glia, not your neurons, that cause you to forget things when you’re high? And that this is some sort of breakthrough in understanding how weed affects your head? OK, we don’t know our glia from our neurons either, but according to Scientific American (which evidently has a larger stoner readership than you’d think), a recent study in the journal Cell suggests that the role of glia in mental activity has been overlooked. We can’t understand a word of that even when we’re straight, but one thing made us giggle: The researchers found all this out by getting a bunch of mice stoned and making them try to find stuff.
