Subway apologizes, promises to measure up in the future
1/26/2013In case you've been living under a rock (or just don't follow fast food related news), the world was recently rocked by photographic evidence that Subway's footlong subs are actually 11 inches long. Consumers have been up in arms, with some even suing the fast food giant, but it took until Friday for Subway to make an official apology. Subway's mea culpa also included a promise to "ensure consistency and correct length" in all it's sandwiches going forward. Subway also added, possibly in their best George Costanza voice, that bread length can vary when it isn't cooked at the right temperature. [Source]
