You don’t really know how much you miss something until it's gone. Like the last delicious inch of your footlong from Subway. The controversy over Subway’s purported shorting of customers, who had an ax to grind over their 11-inch grinders, has now gotten serious, y’all. Combining two stalwart American pastimes — overeating and litigation — two New Jersey men sued Subway this week over the chain’s huckster ways. The men's attorney, Stephen DeNittis, said he measured sandwiches from 17 stores and each came up short. DeNittis said the suit "is about holding companies to deliver what they’ve promised."
