Students show Super Bowl security was skimpier than Beyonce's duds

Gate-crashing is a grand sports tradition, but Super Bowl security is a cut above the other major events. Or not. Two Savannah State students (code names "Kobe" and "LeBron") didn't just sneak past several Superdome checkpoints to get into Super Bowl XLVII, they videoed themselves doing it. It's more attitude than ingenuity: Act like you should be there and wait until security personnel are distracted or involved elsewhere. Oh, and when necessary, carry something bulky like you're making a delivery, and maybe you can even get a guard to hold a door open for you. And, voila, there you catching a glimpse of Beyonce's halftime show and helping yourself to a seat.
