'Super Golden Friends' casts Aquaman as Betty White

Just when you thought no further ingenuity could be wrung from the Internet, someone remakes the "Golden Girls" opening credits into "Super Golden Friends," with superheroes taking the place of the iconic silver foxes. This new, animated teaser (which the animator would like to see picked up by Adult Swim) stars Aquaman (as Rose), Superman (as a strutting Blanche DuBois), Batman (as Dorothy), and — most awesomely — a mini-Robin as Sophia. We're not sure why it's so magical, but there's something profoundly hysterical (and almost touching) about the amount of craft that went into recasting the Golden Girls as animated superheroes, frame by retiree-centric frame.
