Think you can't make a '64 Cadillac DeVille any cooler? Check this out
12/21/2012Car addicts, prepare to fall in love. Mike Musto of the TV show "Big Muscle" offers a tour of an obsessively restored 1964 Cadillac DeVille. The car is a behemoth: 20 feet long and 4,700 pounds, with a blown motor that owner Ron Dean added because of a vision. "I'd always wanted [a car with a blown motor] and I thought, Why not a Cadillac?" (For the non-gearheads among us, a blower is a loud way to supercharge your engine, using a powerful fan that forces extra air through it.) Jalopnik describes it as "some flamboyant gangster bootlegger's daily 'shine wagon'" — or, as Musto puts it while cruising happily down an oceanfront highway: "Nirvana." [Source]
