According to a new survey, if you live on Earth it will take an average $161,000 per year to have you turn that frown upside-down. A study by Skandia International asked people from 13 countries what income would make them "truly happy." The average figure was 15 times the global average salary of $10,700. Germany returned the most modest response, with only 68 percent of those surveyed equating money with happiness and offering the lowest average figure — $85,781. Money-hungry folks in Dubai wanted the most, requiring $276,150 to achieve a state of fiscal bliss. Annoyingly, Americans were not included. [Source]
