Susan Powell feared she'd be killed, left secret note in box
4/1/2012The latest eerie twist to a case that's gripped the nation is a chilling note showing Susan Powell was afraid she'd be killed long before her disappearance. According to just-released documents, Powell hid a note in a safe-deposit box back in 2009 that read, "If Susan Powell dies it may not be an accident, even if it looks like one." The new documents also reveal her blood was found on a sofa in the Powells' home. All this has only added to the widespread anger that her husband wasn't arrested before it was too late, even without Susan Powell's body. Josh Powell killed himself and their two sons in February, attacking the boys with a hatchet and then blowing up their home.
