This band spent 71 hours sorting 65,000 Legos by color for art's sake

What would inspire grown men to sort 65,000 Legos by color? For art, of course. Swedish band Rymdreglage wanted to make a sequel for their popular 2009 video “8-bit trip,” which has been viewed more than 12 million times on YouTube. To make a follow-up (called “8-bit trip 2”) Daniel Larsson and Tomas Redigh (with the help of some friends) spent 71 hours unpacking 100 boxes of Legos, each containing 650 pieces. The sorters filmed themselves with two cameras snapping photos every 20 seconds. They ended up with 12,775 images, which they spliced into this fine time-lapse video of their session. [Source]
