1/16/2013Good news: finding out after two years that you, in fact, do not have cancer. Bad news: two years of chemo has left you with severe side effects. A Swedish woman in her 60s was the recipient of this unwelcome medical marathon. The woman, who had battled breast cancer in the past, had come in complaining of back pains. Doctors thought they spotted tumors on her X-rays and put her on radiation, chemo and cortisone treatments, which left her with brittle bones, compressed vertebrae and brain damage, but hey, the hospital is "very sorry."
