Sweet new printer pumps out 3-D chocolate creations
4/10/2012Hoping to keep that Easter sugar rush going? Choc Edge's versatile desktop 3-D chocolate printer should do the trick. This amazing invention, which began as Dr. Liang Hao's Masters student project, hits the market today, allowing chocoholics to create their own unique, computer-generated treats. "You just need to melt some chocolate, fill a syringe that is stored in the printer and get creative," says Dr. Hao. The unit doesn't come cheap. Choc Edge began accepting preorders for the $4,600 gizmo today and kicked off an Ebay auction for the first available unit. We hope someone sends us one soon -- our sweet tooth is crying out for sustenance.
What shape chocolates would you design?
