Swimmer won't read your hate-tweets till after Olympics
6/1/2012Britain's Rebecca Adlington can be unstoppable in the pool, and the two-time Olympic gold medalist won't let Twitter trolls beat her, either. Adlington says she'll be logging off during the London games so she won't be distracted by any 140-character critiques. "The messages of support are amazing but you do have the chance of someone saying something that is going to be annoying," she explains. The 23-year-old freestyler says that, in her experience, even though the nice comments still significantly outnumber the nasties, just one jerkface is enough to make her angry. "It's just nasty comments about things I can't control," she says. "I can't help the way I look." You mean like a winner?
