Gunman in custody after California school shooting injures 2

A student was shot and wounded at a rural high school in California's San Joaquin Valley on Thursday, and another student was taken into custody. The shooting occurred about 9 a.m. at Taft Union High School in Taft, community of fewer than 10,000 people  about 120 miles northwest of Los Angeles. The student who was shot was flown to a hospital in Bakersfield. There was no immediate word on the victim's condition. Officials say the suspect is a student, and a shotgun was used in the attack. Another person suffered unspecified injuries during the attack, but refused medical attention. [Source]
