Dress up as a zebra and run from stun guns? Just another day at work
2/1/2013Did you do anything interesting at work this week? No matter what, it probably wasn't as remarkable as what a zookeeper at Tokyo's Tama Zoological Park had to do. The lucky employee in this photo gallery got to dress up as an escaped zebra and run around while 60 colleagues tried to zap him with a mock stun gun. It was part of a drill to make sure zoo staffers would be prepared in case an earthquake damages the animals' enclosures and they break free. If you think that sounds like a cool job, Yosuke Tanaka, the 31-year-old keeper assigned the role of zebra because he lacked seniority, offers this warning: "The inside does indeed become a bit stinky with sweat," so you "should think about how to deal with that." Striped noseplugs, perhaps? [Source]
