Upscale magazine mourns office dog killed in revolving door accident
1/15/2013Alan TBH Plumptre was often carried around in an expensive handbag, and was a tiny Twitter celeb with over 2,000 followers. Sadly, Tatler magazine's beloved dog-in-residence was killed in a revolving-door accident outside the magazine's London office. The dog had been walking with a Conde Nast staffer when he chased a man who was on his way into the building. The tiny Dachshund got stuck in the revolving door; when firefighters arrived, it took an hour to free the unidentified man but Alan died on the scene. "My much loved man Alan passed away in a tragic accident," owner and editorial assistant Jennifer George tweeted. "Thank you to all that were there to help." [Source]
