Young tattooed librarians make 2013 more interesting with a calendar

Forget that image of a cranky lady frowning at you over her glasses. These librarians are definitely not stuffy and are into ink of a different kind. The Tattooed Youth Librarians of Massachusetts have released their 18-month calendar, which is selling like hot cakes at $21 a pop. The calendar features one male model, Peter Struzziero, 29, who sports a library street sign on his leg, among other tattoos. All proceeds of the calendar will go to the Massachusetts Library Association and calendar girl Jessica Lamarre, 30, is hoping the publication will shake up their image, "We're tired of the stereotype that we're these bun-wearing, cardigan- and glasses-wearing women shushing people all the time."
