'Teacher of the Year' sexted with student, police say

Now, the popular band teacher has been arrested for allegedly sexting with a 15-year-old student. Police said McDaniel confessed to exchanging nude photos with a girl he taught last year. McDaniel and the girl began messaging via Facebook two years ago, and he told her she was pretty and asked what she looked like naked. The girl sent him topless photos, and he replied by sending her pictures of his genitals. The girl's brother discovered one of the messages last weekend.
