Tebow wants T-shirt maker to stop exploiting him and Jesus
5/17/2012Now that Tim Tebow has joined the New York Jets, an opportunistic T-shirt maker is hawking a new design that changes the "NY Jets" logo to "MY Jesus." The Cubby Tees company notes on its website that neither Tebow nor the Son of God has endorsed the shirt, but Tebow's still annoyed. The 24-year-old quarterback's lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter to the manufacturer, but Cubby Tees isn't backing down. The company says that the design "shares nothing with Mr. Tebow except for promotion of a common Lord and Savior." Maybe if he prays for them to stop?
Do you think Tebow has any right to ask the company to stop?
